Organist Christian Elliott will provide the soundtrack for the evening on The Redford's classic Barton organ. Tickets for this show are $15 and can be purchased in advance here. The Phantom of The Opera will be shown at 8 p.m. This adaptation of the classic is much different than the musical that you have seen on stage, and the addition of the live organ music is sure to give you goosebumps.
It was directed by Rupert Julian and stars Lon Chaney, whose grim makeup was iconic in this film. This 1925 adaptation of the book Le Fantôme de l'Opéra, is a silent film. The historic theatre will be playing The Phantom of The Operawith live organ music. This Saturday, October 13th, The Redford Theatre has a special, eerie evening planned.
